This is chainsaw fucking death metal from Sweden - finally, an actual Swedish band playing in this style! There is a pronounced sludge influence here as well that gives their brand of death metal a distinct rock 'n roll feel, and it's no less morbid for it. In fact, it makes it heavier and sicker. Each song is memorable and full of those awesome Swedish-style riffs we love so much in this style. The chorus of "Hammering the Nails" is immediately infectious, with excellent lyrics and an intense feel. When the singer growls "Another nail is down!" it's hard not to thrash the room. Another standout is "Crushing the Enemy," a brutal fucking track with a punishing verse riff that will have you sacrificing posers immediately. I need a full length from this band for sure! This just isn't enough, and I want more.
