Here we have fierce, blasting death metal from New York that has no compromise or mercy! Imagine Immolation, Krisiun, and Morbid Angel all tossed in a blender after being fed a diet of decayed corpses and you will have a good idea of the sound of this band. There are plenty of sludgy, chunky riffs in each song, although it takes a few passes before the hooks become clear. It's not overly technical, nor is it an exercise in simplicity. No, this is about ferocity and each riff serves that goal. The vocals are powerful and demonic, applied to the music with passion, purpose, and hate. They become truly monstrous when the singer chooses to belt out an even lower guttural. He sings with real power, and I can tell his voice emanates from the chest. I highly recommend going to their Bandcamp page and grabbing this album. It does not disappoint. This is true Satanic death metal.
