9/10 CRUSHED FUCKING SKULLS
This is the second EP from this California bunch. They play proper brutal death metal the old way, with incredibly heavy riffs, killer grooves, and most importantly truly brutal vocals. It does this old metalist's heart good to see the younger generation taking lessons from the past of this music instead of copying what sells. They remind me of Ton a little bit for their bass runs and stop-on-a-dime riffs and swirling violence. There are just four short songs here, but they speak volumes. I want a full length next, to see if they can offer up just as much magic in a longer format. I also want a label to snatch this up and give it a proper release! It deserves it.
